US‑Israel Strikes Intensify as Iran Fires Missiles and Drones Across the Middle East
The US and Israel expand strikes on Iranian military targets while Iran launches missiles and drones toward Israel and Gulf states as the conflict intensifies.
US and Israel Expand Military Campaign Against Iran
The conflict between Iran, the United States and Israel continues to escalate as new waves of airstrikes target Iranian military infrastructure while Tehran responds with missiles and drones across the region.
According to U.S. Central Command, more than 3,000 targets inside Iran have been struck since the start of the military operation, including command centers, missile facilities and naval assets. The campaign has also damaged or destroyed dozens of Iranian naval vessels as part of a broader effort to weaken Iran’s military capabilities.
Fresh Israeli Airstrikes Hit Tehran
Israel launched a new wave of attacks on Tehran and other parts of western and central Iran, deploying more than 80 fighter jets to hit military sites linked to the Iranian government and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Among the targets was Imam Hossein University in Tehran, which Israeli officials say is used for training officers associated with the Revolutionary Guard. Israeli forces also reported destroying underground military infrastructure believed to be used by Iran’s leadership during wartime.
Iran Launches Missile and Drone Attacks
Iran has responded with repeated missile and drone attacks aimed at Israel and U.S. military positions across the Middle East. Sirens have sounded across several Israeli cities as air-defense systems worked to intercept incoming projectiles.
Iranian forces have also claimed to launch attack drones against U.S. bases in Kuwait. Earlier in the conflict, a drone strike at a military installation reportedly killed six U.S. service members.
Regional Tensions Spread Across Gulf States
The fighting has increasingly drawn in other countries in the region. Qatar said it intercepted a drone targeting the Al Udeid airbase, the largest U.S. military facility in the Middle East. Saudi Arabia also reported intercepting several Iranian drones near Riyadh.
Authorities in Kuwait, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have increased air‑defense readiness as the conflict spreads across the Gulf.
Heavy Casualties and Growing Humanitarian Concerns
Iranian officials say more than 1,200 people have been killed since the strikes began, with thousands more injured. The war has triggered large‑scale displacement and raised fears of a broader regional conflict.
Despite international calls for de‑escalation, both sides have signaled that the fighting will continue. Iranian leaders insist they will not seek a ceasefire, while the United States and Israel say their objective is to dismantle Iran’s military capabilities and prevent future threats.
With missile exchanges continuing and new strikes being reported daily, analysts warn that the war could expand further across the Middle East if diplomatic efforts fail to contain the violence.
